Tiger Den

Tigers are boys in the first grade and/or 7 years old.  Tigers progress through indoor and outdoor activities and achievements with the help of their adult partner team mate.  Adult partners are trusted individuals at least 18 years of age such as a parent, grandparent, aunt or uncle.

Tiger Progression

A. Learn Tiger Cub Motto, Cub Scout Sign, and Cub Scout salute in order to earn the right to wear the Tiger Cub Immediate Recognition Emblem.

B. Progress through five three-part achievements to earn colored beads for your Tiger Cub Immediate Recognition Emblem.  Each achievement has a family activity component (white bead), a den activity component (orange bead), and a go see-it component (black bead).  The five achievements are:

     1. Making My Family Special
     2. Where I Live
     3. Keeping Myself Healthy and Safe
     4. How I Tell It
     5. Let's Go Outdoors

C. When a Tiger has earned all 15 beads for his Tiger Immediate Recognition Emblem he will be awarded his Tiger Badge at an official Pack Ceremony.

D. Throughout the year, Tiger Cubs will also work on elective activities, sport belt loops, and academic belt loops.  As electives are completed, Tigers are awarded a yellow Tiger Track Bead to be worn on their Tiger Immediate Recognition Emblem.  As belt loop activities are accomplished, Tigers are awarded decorative metal emblems to be worn on their Tiger Cub belt.
